Subject: PROP: The End is Nigh
Hey guys,

I have been away for the past couple of weeks, somewhat unexpectedly.
I'm back, but there doesn't seem to be much activity. Anything going
on? To be honest, it looks as if people are too busy or have lost a bit
of interest. I have to admit to not keeping up with it as often as I
should! My prop is a test - I am not against the Nomic, but it would be
better to have a dignified end than a fading out.

----
PROP: The end is nigh

All previous rules are no longer in effect, and the following shall
appear on the rulelist website, with the replacements which are in
square brackets.

"NomicSidekickNomic has finished. The winner was x [where x is the
plaer with the most points]. The following we reincarnated y [where y
are any players with wintitles]. To reactivate the Nomic, email the
google group at z [where z is the email addrss of the nomic group]."

Should someone email the group with any message indicating a restart,
the previous rulelist may be used to be the formation of a new nomic
----

Hope that this is OK guys - if people want to keep going with the
Nomic, please vote no to this prop. If people are interested still,
then I can vote against and it will keep the game going (and also make
a failed prop for the first time in ages!!).

My plan was to start up again when school started, although I didn't
actually tell anyone about it. I'm going to keep with that for now, to keep
my summer responsibilities to a minimum. That said, I do actually want to
end up with nomic art of some sort.

Peace, Ahab

Hi all,

There is one proposal to vote on this week, provided by Sheep.

I went to Seattle and didn't tell the Nomic.  I came back a few days
ago and am finally updating the Nomic now.  Sorry about the
negligence.

This Nomic seems to be going nowhere.  In order to have an arts
trade, we need a community, and in order to have a community, we need
a lot more active members.  3-4 people do not constitute a community
by any means.

There are some other Nomics that are busy and full of creative
players.  I've looked at Blognomic, and it seems good.  I'm sure
there are at least a few others.  Unfortunately, this Nomic doesn't
seem worth continuing at this time.

That's my opinion, anyway.  So I'm voting *for* the proposal quoted
below, 'The End is Nigh'.

If people suddenly want to keep this Nomic going, though, like Sheep
said, vote against this proposal.  We can discuss other
possibilities.
