Computer turns off while antivirus scanning

I installed ESET Smart Security (NOD32) and started a full system
scan. But when it came at about half a way, computer just turned
off !!
So I tried with Spybot S&D (newest ver. with updates) and the same
damn thing, it just turned off. I killed several processes and tried
again, but with same result. I also tried to scan in Safe Mode, but,
