Subject: Request for letters of support for TPP software maintenance grant.

Dear TPP Users,

We are submitting an NIH grant proposal to continue the development and
maintenance of the TPP and need your help to convince the reviewers that
the TPP is a widely used tool that merits continued funding.

The TPP users can have a significant effect on whether or not we can
receive additional funding for the maintenance and continued enhancement
of the software suite.  If you use the TPP in your research we are
asking you to help us demonstrate the usefulness of this product to the
proteomics community.

Should you be gracious enough to write a signed letter of support that
we can submit with our proposal, please send us an email at
<lwilker...@systemsbiology.org> and we will email you a sample letter
with the grant title and other pertinent information.  Otherwise, please
still consider helping us by answering a few short questions.

Thank you very much for your continued support!

--SPC Tools Team

P.S. We understand that you might be too busy to write us a letter.
However, you could still be a tremendous help to us by providing us with
the following information:

1.  Your name

2.  Name of your company / institution

3.  Number of NIH (and other) grants where TPP is applied (please give
the grant numbers)

4.  Number of labs in your company / institution that use the TPP

5.  Number of users in your company / institution directly affected by
the TPP

6.  Details of your projects/papers that use the TPP
