I use filemon (for what I THINK is the same purpose)
[link]

It monitors ALL read and write activity, and can be restricted
to a single file or single directory etc.

It gives you almost too much information, although like everything
else (except TSE) never exactly what you want.

Anyone using MagicJack? It keeps a log of calls in a file, "CallLogs.clm" in the "flash drive" that is part of the MagicJack apparatus. It's easy to copy this file to one's hard drive, and open it in TSE. It's an ASCII file, but not "plain" ASCII. Has anyone figured out how to "interpret" it. The first step is to delete all of the null characters, and that is readily done. But from there???

Indeed, what has been done is creating a so called 'program generator', that is some program which
produces another program.
Usually this is done using 'PRINT' statements, in this case using e.g. TSE AddLine().
In this special case a database web interface.
Note: you generate that once, after that you do not have to use the generator anymore.

I see now that I should have looked more carefully at your code
before saying anything. I thought you were writing simple
MSSQL, Oracle etc databases directly without using the
product engines. I was hoping to learn how the internal
structures of these DataBases worked, by looking at code
used to create them.

The idea is thus using a .ini file to create quickly web pages which will allow you to control your database via the Internet.
You initialize the data via a .ini file.
Quite much degrees of freedom, so usually implicating some more knowledge.
Once set, using TSE Addline() commands you create the HTML/PHP code.

 Hi Knud;

I just took a very quick look at this and it looks very interesting
for
my work. I will probably spend a few days (or weeks) working out
what you have done, so I can take advantage of this code.

So thanks for posting it.
