Subject: Bobwhite, Pied-Billed Grebe - New Peak Count fro House Wrens?
This morning I birded Botetourt County including Fincastle, Springwood
Rd, Buchanan, James R. at Arcadia and Horseshoe Bend, Greenfield Lake,
& Daleville.

For those of you that like to bird Arcadia, you might try stopping at
Riversde Park in Buchanan on your way - I saw a Wood Duck there this
morning & have seen a Spotted Sandpiper there before. Here's a map:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=RIVERSIDE+pARK,+Buch...

Highlights today included a Pied-Billed Grebe at Greenfield Lake & 13
House Wrens in the Daleville area.  Birds of the Roanoke Valley shows
a peak count of 12.
