Subject: Panasonic LF-D340
I've got a firewire Panasonic LF-D340 DVD-RAM DVD-R drive (it reports its
hardware as a Matsushita LF-D310). I've plugged it into my Windows XP machine, and presto, the DVD-RAM drive letter mapping functions works with pre-installed Microsoft drivers. It works like a charm. Next, I decided to try to burn DVD-R disks with the device. No luck. I cannot find any DVD burning software that supports this drive. Has anyone managed to burn a DVD-R disk with the 340 or 310 - or any other Panasonic or Matsushita-based firewire DVD recorder? I'd appreciate advice on how to make this thing work.
