He was a terrible amateur ref and it took Canada some years to finally get rid of him. He never lived down his being KOd. He came to a So. Calif. tournament many years ago with one of the Canadian teams. He was awful! Even the Canadian boxers and coaches were embarrassed by his lack of skills.
