The "Blackie Collins" "letter opener" lockback, assisted opening all
plastic knife. (looks like Delrin?) Assisted opening supplied by copper
beryllium spring, with no magnetic signature. The knife is 7" open, 4"
closed, the blade is a partially serrated drop point. It has a pocket
clip.

It was designed for EOD operations for cutting paper, string and such.
It may be modified by sharpening with fine grit paper and may be drilled
at butt for lanyard. You can get a very serious edge for one time use.

I dove with it for 1 week, 5 dives per day, drying in the salt air for
each surface or overnight interval. After the last immersion, I dried it
in the sun and let it sit (in transit) for 72 hours. It was never
rinsed. There was no noticeable corrosion on the spring, although its
finish was less reflective. The stiffened action returned to normal,
giving the original switch blade like opening, with the application of a
light lubricant (Sheath brand oil).
