Free midi player that shows notes playing? 
  I am wondering where to get a good midi player where I can load a midi file, and edit and play the notes. When it plays the piece, I should also be able to see which notes are playing. I looked at download.com, but didn't find anything good. It seems they all don't show the notes, but just play the song. I use Win XP,... more »

Music Printer Plus 4.1 
  hi all, i have my old copy of MPP and some old data files i'd like to convert to midi. old and tired question i'm sure. i tried booting to dos 6.2. this got me farther than anything i've tried before. but, not all the way. i got to the file select screen and then it hangs. i even have the install file, which starts and hangs.... more »
