Q about Metallic Fabrics

Hi! I am so glad that it's September! Summer in Iowa has been kind
of a bust with all the flooding. Out of 99 counties, 98 were declared
Disaster areas.
Anyway -- to be on topic -- I have some wonderful metallic fabric in
my ever-growing stash. I can't seem to get enough of the "Fairy
Frosts." I am working up the gumption to actually use some it, but

I talked to my sister today and her DH has made it 41 hrs in the cardi
critical care unit. The improvement is very slow, but there HAS been some.
The doctor has removed the heart pump, and there is hope that he might make
it. We all thank you are the prayers!

I'll never do another crazy quilt again in my life. Now I know how it got
it's name. It drives you crazy trying to make a square block out of all the
odd size pieces.

Hi! My question is: Why me old cat won't eat? She's very
old. Between 18 & 25 years old. I had her on Iams regular. Then I get the
bright (NOT!!) idea that she's old & should have some canned cat food as a
treat (Got her Fancy Feast) She liked it TOO MUCH!! To the exclusion of
the dry. Friend got some Newman's Own. She refuses to eat it AT ALL!! I

OT - update on Grandson

Well, DH is on a training course this weekend, so while the hubby is
away.......I get to play!
I have cut miles of strips in the last week or so. Yesterday I started
sewing light and dark strips together. Last night watching TV I started

an odd wedding announcement.
I haven't attended a wedding I many years so I could be just out of
touch with modern times.
This announcement was a long post card. Just the name of the bride

(printing cutting and stitching lines for quilt shapes on the back of
your fabric with an ordinary ink jet printer) there is great news.
Linda Franz has done a lot of work and has some new collections
available, in a new format. They are downloadable and will also work
