Of course not everyone is a fan, but you gotta like the fact that she has an impact...especially when it comes to matters that are dear to our hearts! A couple of weeks ago she carefully answered a viewer's email by saying that she thinks everyone should educate themselves about where their food comes from. And just now I saw a commercial for an upcoming episode (next Tuesday): Where Does Our Food Come From? I don't know how exactly the show plans to attack this issue, but I'm pretty excited that millions of people are about to be educated about the horrors of the meat industry. Thought I should share...

BTW, the more votes the Green Party gets, the more $$$ it receives to carry on.....

I hate strategic voting, just dilutes, in my mind and we have this patchwork of parties without enough power or voices to be tenable. Green Party will never get anywhere unless people actually vote for them.

I'm curious what riding you are in? I think it is Jen Hunters? I can't
comment on the email you sent- was it to Jen's office? but you can
walk in at Jen's office in the Glebe (225 Strathcona) any day til 9pm
(not sure about how late on weekends….). On Sunday there is a Policy

I know we have a lot of great causes here at home, but any contributions would be helpful to help keep the aerial wolf hunting ad running in swing states.

Palin is worse than Bush's stance on the environment (who would have thought that possible??) Plus she is extremely sadistic towards animals. She has even sanctioned the prevously unheard killing of bear sows and cubs. Allthough some may view this as a US issue, Animals don't carrry citizenship cards.

I like the Greens and what pur egreen stands for, but they've gone off the
goofy cliff on some complementary stuff.
Also their public relations is consistently poor, for example they don't
respond to emails. That's poor planning.

BTW if you haven't actually read the Green Party animal protection
plank you really should! (link provided by Corrie below.
It deals specifically with the mistreatment of animals in farm
industry to start but gets into animals in entertainment, research-
testing-education, companion animals and also treatment of wildlife.
