Welcome to the Ogden Area Linux Users Group (OALUG). We are a group of professionals who share a love and a passion for Linux, regardless of distribution. We welcome anyone who is interested in Linux, or Free and Open Source Software, to participate in the group. Membership Membership is open and free as are our meetings. We will never charge to become a member, attend any meeting or participate in the group. Membership is open to all ages, races and gender, regardless of political affiliation, sexual preference, marital status, creed, physical or mental disability, or on the basis of the exercise of rights secured by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. Please join us on the mailing list, hosted here, in our meetings and in our IRC channel (listed below). We are always looking for eager people who have a similar interest in Linux and open technologies. You may find that we are an enthusiastic group willing to help at any cost anytime. We meet once a month to accommodate those who live in the Davis and Weber Counties in Utah. The meeting schedule is as follows:

Our group meetings and events can be found at our calendar hosted by Google: Wiki OALUG has a collaborative wiki, at which can be found our constitution, bylaws, membership application process, and much more. Internet Relay Chat (IRC) We have a chat room (called a "channel") on IRC hosted by Freenode. We are an official group of Freenode, and as such, membership cloaks are available upon request.
