Activated Bard Spell info (it had been there a while, but was unusable ??)

Move Magic Items inventory to 'Page 2'

Create a Psionics tab

 10-31-2006

Unlocked the Acton Points Cell

Edited the VB that fills the variable list boxes fixing how the following lists fill:

  • Caster Class 1
  • Caster class 2
  • Race

Fixed the Mage on Caster class 2... it was keying off of caster class 1 levels

Fixed the "casting stat" display picker.

11-9-06

Automatically figures action points based on level.

Cut main tab down to 2 pages.

Magic Items/Slots are on page two with spots for their weights to be figured directly into encumberance.

Casting Class Drop-downs were moved to be beside page one.

Some other adjustments that work best for single class characters, but can be modified or overwritten for multi-class:

  • Automatically figure saves.  Select whether each save is a poor or good save and the sheet will scale it for level.
  • Automatically figure BAB.  Select whether your character's BAB is Poor, medium, or good, and the sheet scale it for level.

Several Dedicated tabs were added to account for spellcasting and other special abilities.

There is one for Druids and Clerics. One for Wizards and Sorcerers, One for Paladins and Rangers, One for Bards and Artificers, and one for Psionics (though that one isn't even started yet... Spoilers!)

They all work best for single- class spellcasters, but can be easily modified to deal with multi-class spellcasters, as long as you are not taking two spellcasters that compete for the same tab.  (I immediately sense a flood of requests to play Sorcerer/wizards and Paladin/rangers).  In those cases, you'll just have to pick wich one you want to track on the tab.

They are all landscape and share the following qualities:

  • Special Area figures your spells per day via a grid that shades in a way to indicate how many spells are available for your level.  This shading changes with level and stat increases.  You can type in both unshaded areas (to set up a standard spell list) and shaded areas (to plan for the future).
  • Area to keep track of Spellbook/Spontanious spells known/ or spells available.  For some classes this is more necessary, for others it is more convenience.
  • Area to keep track of particularly costly or rare materia.
  • Area to keep track of wands or other spell granting Items (for the convenience of having all your spell throwing on one sheet)
  • Area to note metamagic feats or Rods that you have at your disposal (to help in planning and casting decisions)
  • Calculations that show the Save DC for each level of spell

Each Dedicated tab also has things uniquly suited for some of the classes

Cleric/Druid:

  • An area that figures Turning information.
  • An area to keep track of domains and Domain powers
  • Extra slots at the top of each level's spell list to note Domain spells
  • A spot near each spell level that shows what Cure spell a cleric may default to and how much it cures.

Wizard/ Sorcerer:

  • Nothing extra

Paladin/Ranger:

  • An area to track a special mount or animal companion
  • an area to note special and spell-like abilities.

Artificer/Bard:

  • An area that figures various Bard Music stats.
  • An area that figures Artificer Craft reserve.
  • Spell list "shades" for bards to indicate spells known allowed.

Possible future additions:

Complete the psionics tab

Add some fields to the other tabs to make it easier to deal with multiclassing.

Add Shading to sorcerer spell list.

Add Mage information to Wizard/Sorcerer tab.

Tooltips (The popup notes) to help with the extra tabs.

11-10-2006

Fixed problem with character name not being carried over to caster tabs.

Added a "Class Level" Field on some of the Caster Tabs.  Modifying this and the caster class on the main page should account for most Multiclassing issues.

11-21-2006

Finished the Psionics tab.

Properties as follows:

  • Figures Power points, Powers Known, and Max Power level for all four primary psionic classes
  • Allows for feats and race inputs to affect those stats.
  • Has place for power reservoirs
  • Has place for Psicrystal stats (had to assume some base numbers as the psionics books don't like to spell things out)
  • Has a place to track various Psionics crystals and such.
  • Has some extra space that I will fill as I discover what is more important with psionic characters.

Despite figuring some information for soulknives, I imagine that this tab is largly unnecessary for them.

Still not done but likely in the future:

Shading sorcerer spell lists to indicate spells known.

Ogre's Mage Info to Wiz/Sor tab

Tooltips on Spellcaster/Psionic tabs.

GRAPHICS

11-22-2006

 Fixes:

Adusted text size for DR and Resistance cells to be uniform.

Unprotected the text cells for "other" DRs and Resistances.

Fixed the "Max Spell Level" calculator on the spell tabs.

Also: Added "Any on list" text to spells per day area of most Spontanious casters to avoid confusion.

11-27-06

Corrected a problem with the paladin spel figuring tab.

12-18-06

Unprotected some cells on the spellcaster Tabs to allow them to be written in

Added a space to put the 'Personality benefit' of a Psicrystal

Added Ogre's Mage class spellcasting to be figured on Wizard Tab.

Adjusted the Spells Known list on the Wizard (and Sorcerer and Mage) tab to shade out boxes to indicate when new known spells were available.

And , Just For Drew, Did minor arranging on front page to allow for a graphic.

02-06-07

Added "Inspire competence" section on bard tab.

Made major change to how hidden formulas figure bonus spells per stat... now all spell casters should be getting the right amount of spells per day on their tabs....  The

old math did not interact with the new math very well.

If you have something Non-Standard that would use one of those pages
with a different ability, then I can adjust your stat cell for you...
It's in a hidden columnin the middle of the page.

The default caster stat for each page is determined by your choices on
the first page on the caster class drop downs.
For instance: if either of those caster classes are listed as Wizard,
the wizard tab activates with Int as the base stat. If either of those
say Bard, then the bard/Artificer tab is activated with Charisma as the

I am still not entirely sure how to change the default casting stat on
the caster tabs, but I imagine that is something obvious I am just
overlooking?
