     I am a cog in the machine. I am a servant of TUNE, who is clockwork. Precise, efficient, perfection of thought and execution. I am a cog in the machine. TUNE is the grinding of gears and the rolling of wheels. TUNE is the relentless sound of progress and I hear. In Metrol I first heard the distant grind of TUNE while I labored as Chief Assisstant to the First Siegecrafter of House Cannith in now-shattered Metrol. In Metrol I gleaned the secrets of artifice and siegecraft and our designs were most efficiently utilized to destroy thousands of lives in war. War is the shadow of the machine and the hidden underbelly of TUNE. I learned it is not wise to dwell overlong in war for there are dark passions there, a lust for destruction that serves no purpose and distortions of the iron sanctity that is TUNE. This and more I learned from the voice of TUNE as I listened to the splintering of bone and the severing of flesh. I am a cog in the machine. My House Cannith Master heard only the shadow of TUNE and learned the secrets of hubris and greed and lust for power. He and others of House Cannith sought to harness the clockwork might of TUNE and in their arrogance destroyed Cyre. My master and I escaped to Sharn where he resumed his improper projects and when the opportunity presented itself to have him punished for many of his crimes I seized it and for my association I was indentured. But TUNE has a purpose and speaks to me. I am to be the glorious architect of the transformation of TUNE and prophet of the Becoming God. I am the guardian of the Four Maxims. I am a COG in the machine.
