First of all I want to say thanks to everybody who keeps suggesting
the new features to improve MLO. There are *many* features suggested
by MLO community which have already included to the application and we
are open for new suggestions to improve MLO further.

However due to the number of requests I can not answer or comment
every message. I do read all the messages, analyze best requests and
make corrections in my internal plans basing on them. But I just do
not have time to answer or comment on everything.

So how to suggest a new MLO feature the best way?

1) All new suggestions should be posted here on forum (not on support
e-mail)
2) The subject of the post should be "Feature Request: <feature
name>".
3) Post should start with short description of the proposed feature
4) Any information you want to add might go after the short
description (explanation of why you need this feature, how you would
use MLO with this new feature, your thoughts on how easy it is to
implement this feature etc, etc)
5) The more people comment this post the better. This will allow us to
analyze the feature from different sides.
6) If there is a long discussion then the owner of the feature request
should create a clear summary and post it to the same thread.
7) If you want this feature request to be registered in MLO features
plan:

then you need to have comments from 4-7 people and good summary as
described in (6). So if you have this please send the link to this
thread on support e-mail. We will provide our comments then.
8) Please note that feature requests which are registered are actually
added for *consideration*. Not all features can be implemented in MLO
(at least in the nearest time :)

If I like the feature request myself and it is easy to implement and
it does not affect existing functionality much and it is in line with
my vision of the product future then it will be implemented when it is
appropriate time. For more complex features the deeper analysis is
needed.

In most cases we can not answer the question "when this feature will
be implemented?" Some features require another functionality in place
first, some features are the parts of another bigger function and they
will be implemented *automatically* when this bigger function is
implemented. I will post the MLO current development plan here on
forum periodically.

I read all feature request sent to support e-mail but most likely
these e-mails will not be answered due to lack of time. Sorry and
thanks for understanding. I just want to keep the balance between MLO
development and communications. So please use the procedure described
above.

Please note that the bugs is another story. If you find a bug in MLO
then please send it to support and you will get a response ASAP with
an answer when the bug will be fixed (if it is really a bug and we can
reproduce it).

And finally. It is in our interest to improve MLO. We have clear
vision of the product future and we appreciate your feedback. We will
do our best to keep the balance between the power and easy-to-use
which MLO still has :)
