I just listened to it and it has lyrics. I don't have the song the other people suggested though. I was certainly unaware of *any* ELO song being used on sports highlight reels. Maybe he means Rock and Roll Part 2.

No way in the world. I just listened to "Fire On High." It sounds like music for a ghost ship level in some video game. It's spooky. I've never heard anything like that used to highlight sports.

He probably meant the guitar part in the middle. This part used to be used as bed music by radio stations.

That one was run into the ground (or ice) long ago...and of course, about an hour later, I realized it was Fire on High.
