Update fails with no error message. Running Vista Ultimate. Any help?

Are you running Vista or Vista SP1 now?

Are you attempting to install KB947562 via Windows Update or manually?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed?  What
anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?  What third-party firewall
(if any)?

Hi PA Bear,
I have the same problem and I tried to install the update both via Windows
Updates and manually.
My anit-visus or security application is Norton Internet Security 2008
By the way  am running Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 as well.
