I am running windows XP, service pack 2. I have over 80 updates on my computer, mostly security updates but some window updates to. When doing the updates I keep getting the following error messages on all updates Ox8007F0DA "Unable to verify the integrity of update.inf file" I have tried everything to fix this with no luck.... more »

When trying to install SP1, I encounter the error 8007010B. I've tried all 8 suggested resolutions on the microsoft page, but no luck. on 7/3, my vista system automatically installed a windows defender update-KB915597 (definition 1.37.271.0). Also, on 7/1, (definition 1.37.191). Around that time, when I went into a yahoo messenger chat room, I was unable to see text that was typed in the room. However, I can still hear voices and music on the mic. I have just reformated my C drive--installed Windows XP Home Edition & installed updates. While installing Service Pack 3 it stopped in the middle with Error Message "A component's file does not match the verification information present in the component manifest." Yikes : Error 80070424 HELP!

Upon booting my computer, I tend to get a pop-up window that states " C:\\Windows\System32\msupdate. exe . The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. CS:1335 IP:3td0 0P:ff ff 00 00 00. " And i have to close to terminate the program. After which, i couldn't update my window with window updater as I will then get error code 80070424. Please help me . thanks .... more »
