Cannot see Attachments and Email's Body !!!

I have installed Entourage 2008 and it has 12.0.1 update as well. problem is i can not see any attachment on my POP imported emails (tested with different POP emails) except for the welcome email prepared by Entourage itself. and the other problem is i can only see less than 10% of emails body and it is not possible to read other emails body (only emails headers are visible !)

and most likely is an accidental entry in the Mailing List Manager.
Because of a badly worded dialog it is all to easy to create an entry
that moves all messages into either the inbox or the junk mail folder.

the following script will show you which database is currently in use by
opening a finder window and selecting the current file. It will work for
Office 2004 & 2008:
-- Show Current Database v1.0 (2008-10-12)
-- an applescript by Barry Wainwright <mailto:bar...@mac.com>
-- Opens a Finder window and selects the databse file currently in use

sorry, it isn't built in to Entourage.
Please send feedback to Microsoft on this. Use the 'Send Feedback' item
under the 'Help' menu in any Office application. The more people that
request such a feature the more likely it is to be implemented.

What you need is the Send Later button. If you don't see it, you can add it
by choosing View > Customize Toolbar (while viewing the message composition
window).
And as JR said, make sure you don't have any schedules enabled at Tools >
Schedules.

You can delete this backup IF you are satisfied that you are actually using
the new database. Move the rebuild Identity to the desktop and rename it.
Now launch Entourage. Are you still in the new Identity? If yes, delete the
rebuild Identity.

Info. Compare the newly created folders with the ones you dragged to the

In Entourage 2008 I'd like the ability to have a single keystroke to
select some text and search for it's next occurrence.
So instead of:
Select Text
Copy
Find
Paste
Return
It would be
Select text
Hit keystroke shortcut
If you use Textwrangler or BBEdit for example, I want to make a
Command-H type shortcut (not Hide).

Entourage 2008 - how to script message editing

Hello,
I'd like to discover or add some capabilities in Entourage.
For starters I'd like to be able to edit incoming messages and cleanup
added text junk (for example =20 - that's equal sign twenty return) at
the end of some lines.
I think I want an Applescript that I can I can invoke with a
keystroke, and that can fix up to 5 different boogers like this.

You would get that from ATT/sbcglobal.
However, I suspect you've probably enabled something like "This POP
service requires a secure connection (SSL)" in your account settings but
that the service doesn't support it.
Go to Tools --> Accounts... and double-click your POP account to edit
it. Then under the Receiving mail section at the bottom click the "Click

Hi Chris!
You have to first click the Invite button before you can add a
signature. Adding a signature to an event for just yourself doesn't make
sense.
If necessary, select View --> Customize Toolbar... to add the Signature
button to your toolbar.

Damaged Database

I have recently installed Leopard and Office 2008. I cannot open Entourage. Here is the message I get when I try:"You do not have sufficient permissions to view contents of this folder. When I open Word or Power Point I am told that the database is damaged and needs to be rebuilt. I try to rebuild the database but I am told there is an error. I have reinstalled Office but that does not help. Can anyone help me?

Are you saying that *all* your mail is getting moved to the Junk E-mail
folder when it's getting downloaded?
Check three places:
1. Tools... --> Rules.
2. Tools... --> Junk E-mail Protection...
3. Tools... --> Mailing List Manager.
These are the only three things in Entourage that can automatically move

am using whatsize to determine disk size on my hard drive. i have come across a database file that is in the following directory. /Users/bretkennedy/Documents/M icrosoft User Dataoffice 2008 identities. there are 2 folders. main identity, and main identity backup(with a date it was done) now the backup holds a database file that is 3gig+, yet my normal identity file is only 568 odd meg.
