Subject: कूद-फांद करना

After an embarassingly long time away from it, I am getting back to reading Narendra Kohli's हम सब का घर.  I'm not having much difficulty in this section, but did have one question and then I just wanted to share one of the verbs.

1.  Apparently the term कूद-फांद करना means "to dance about, to jump for joy, to gambol".  I really like this term so I thought I'd share it:-)  It was used in the following sentence:
वे दोनों मज़े से पलंग पर कूद-फांद कर सकते थे।

2.  I am curious as to how you would translate the phrase "X पर लगना".  I think it must mean "to be set on doing X"?  I'll put the sentence below where it is used.  The boy is trying to get the girl's attention and has grabbed her arm/hand and is shaking it.  This is her response.
तुम मेरी बांह की हड्डी तोड़ने पर लगे हो।
I take this to mean "You are set on breaking the bones of my arm." Or is it "You appear to be breaking the bones in my arm."?

You have the right meaning the first time.
"You are set on breaking the bones of my arm."
