Subject: hep still active?
Is hep still being actively maintained?

I'm searching around for a replacement for newspipe (a rss->smtp tool).
Works great, but every article change (including banner ad changes)
mean a duplicate article being forwarded, and culling them is a real
chore. and am thinking hep along with isync (an imap sync tool, so I
can keep feed archives) would work better for me.

Are people using it? Are bugs being fixed? is it still evolving? what
happens when Abe is busy with real life? (not a dig, I'm often in the
same boat myself... :)

Just trying to gauge where it's at and where it's going. Seems a bit
quiet...

Paul

Hi Paul,

Unfortunately Hep is not being actively maintained these days. Updating Hep
to run under the latest Twisted release is on my TODO list, but I haven't
had time to do it, and probably won't in the near future. So you're probably
better off looking for another solution for now.

Thanks for your interest, though!
