Subject: Ferrets with Adrenal Disease
I just took in a little girl "Angel" with Adrenal Disease, I have
talked to the vet. and she is going in this week to be seen. I don't
know a lot about AD. I am a bit worried and have done a lot of
research online but get conflicting advice. I want to give her the
best care I can. I also have two boys. I do not have the three
together in the same cage she is alone as she also has earmites, which
she is taking revolution every month now. I have only had her for 2
days now. She is missing about half her hair, she looks bad but she is
full of energy and is delightful. I am looking at the surgery option
as well as the Lupron shot monthly. I will know more when my vet sees
her. I have a great vet. so that is helpfull.
I have never dealt with this before. Thank God my boys are healthy and
wonderful. I just want to do for her what I can and make her happy and
comfortable for as long as I can. If anyone has any advise please, I
will be greatful to get any advise I can.

Thank you,

Ferret Mommy
