I am a Speech and Language Therapist working in NE London, UK. I have experience working with a range of client groups including children and adults on the Autistic Spectrum.

Both I and a colleague have been pilotting 'Video Profiling' in a primary special school and mainstream schools in the London Borough of Redbridge for the past 15 months and I have recently had a related article published in the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapist's 'Bulletin' publication.

I would like to share the following link to our Video Profiling website --> www.videoprofiling.co.uk where you can read more information on how Video Profiling has been developed and used as part of a Multi Disciplinary Team working with children with complex speech, language and communication needs.

Video Profiling is a way of securely sharing information regarding learning, communication and independence skills of children with complex Speech, Language and Communication needs. It was developed by two Speech and Language Therapists working in special school and mainstream school environments.

Videos of children's skills and achievements are collected and compiled into a Video Profile. The Video Profile can be accessed by people working with that child to celebrate achievements, monitor progress and make decisions about intervention.
