The Systems Biology Group at the Pasteur Institute in Paris (France)
has one-year vacancy for a software engineer. In collaboration with a
number of groups in the United States, we are developing Cytoscape,
the most popular open-source software platform for visualization and
analysis of interaction networks. The person we are looking for will
work together with the collaborating groups to set development goals,
implement new functionality, ensure the quality of the existing code
base, and collaborate on general tasks related to Cytoscape.
The Systems Biology Group at the Pasteur Institute in Paris (http://systemsbiology.fr
) is an English-speaking research group. We develop integrative
approaches to biology based on large-scale data. Besides Cytoscape, we
are working on the new approaches to the identification of functional
modules in biological interaction networks, and computational mass
spectrometry.
