It's been a long time coming, but you now have the chance to download the December 1984 epsiode of BBC's `Commercial Breaks` programme. This is the all-famous episode featuring `Imagine Software` and their magnificent going-down-the-pan.
Simply copy and paste the following link into your Bit Torrent software:

Downloading alright for me at the moment. Fingers crossed though beacuse Azureus 2.2.0.0 has been causing kernel panics in kqueue on dual processor Macs. Perhaps it is fixed with 10.3.6 - I await with trepidation...

Possibly running out of connections to obdwww, maybe? Not sure, I just know I have ten ports open for BitTorrent users and that I have two other streams (the documentary chapters) available from the same server as well.
Keep retrying and you'll eventually get through.

Is the quality OK for everyone? I tried to aim for VCD dimensions and tried different powers of two until I got a good bitrate on my Linux (Duron) box. And apologies to Media Player users as MSMP doesn't handle DivX's too well, at least not on my Win98se P3-500 box.
If most people are happy with it, I'll use it as a guideline for the CGExpo footage

It looks alright for me. I forget the history, is it from a VHS tape? Looks pretty good I think.
If you're apologising to Windows Media Player users then it's fine for me.
£40 for Bandersnatch in 1983! And all that hardware!

Excellent - I got it on DVD as a set of VOB files (>2Gb in total for 30 mins!), and that DVD came from Tayles via Rob.

And with 20-30 items in the box! Gotta love Imagine sales rubbish... and the whole idea of an album being released alongside! As if anyone would ever do that these days...
Errr... ignore the OutRun 2 soundtrack CD...
And, of course, "Midlands - The British Bank".
Today HSBC...
