Subject: Beta release of PrintPDF 0.10
I have just uploaded the first beta version of a new freeware utility to
my website.  PrintPDF aims to simplify the process of creating PDF
documents using GhostScript, by working with !Printers to remove the need
to handle intermediate postscript files.

By setting up a dedicated PostScript printer driver in !Printers, set to
print to file in a specific location, PrintPDF can collect the files,
queue them and then pass them to the command-line ps2pdf command that
comes as part of GhostScript.  Full set-up details are provided in the
documentation.

>From a user's perspective, loading PrintPDF onto the iconbar, selecting

the newly configured printer driver and printing from an application will
result in a Create PDF dialogue box opening.  The conversion options can
then be set (if necessary), and the PDF file dragged to the required place
on disc.

PrintPDF is freeware, and full details can be found at:

As this is the first beta release of PrintPDF, I would welcome any
feedback on the application, documentation, etc.
