Hi y'all, I'm looking for some examples/advice/etc, on GUI programming using pascal. I have the FPC compiler in Dev-Pascal. Doing it raw (plain api) seems way to complicated. wxWidgets uses a dll that causes applications to hog 14 MEGS of memory just to put up a window that says "hello world". Hi, Anyone using the above? Or Lazarus on any flavour of linux? I'm finding it to be very flaky, and I wonder whether that's down to my system, or to the fact that it's still only release 0.9.24 Any pointers would be helpful, even if only to tell me which is the proper newsgroup to post in.
