I am currently undertaking a research project into the Tsunami Appeal
and how so many people responded to the tragic disaster in such a
generous way. Although Charitable giving is on the increase this appeal
saw unprecedented amounts of donations and people motivated to give
either money or time. What Im researching is what about this emergency
appeal was different - what about our morality was hit by this event in
comparason to appeal such as the current appeal for the African Crisis.
Did any of you donate money or time? and if so what was your
motivation? Did you have any connection to that region?
individual response and your own feelings on this matter will be
greatly recieved.
