Date: Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13.
Time: Saturday 8pm - 4pm; Sunday 8am -12 noon BY APPOINTMENT
Audition Location: Sheil Park, 3505 N. Southpark Ave. Chicago, IL. Club Room
B - 1st Floor

Pay: Payment, airfare & housing. Spend winter in 50 degree weather!
Equity / Non Equity: BOTH - Non-union preferred, but Guest Artist for the
right AEA guy possible.
Type / Restrictions: Nearly Naked Theatre, Arizona's leading alternative
theatre, will be holding Chicago-based auditions for the role of Song Liling
in M. BUTTERFLY by David Henry Hwang. NEEDED is one ASIAN male, age 25-35
with good comic and drama skills, moderate/light singing and comfortable
with an extensive nude scene. FULL REQUIREMENTS at
www.nearlynakedtheatre.org on THE COUCH.
Time Commitment:   Rehearsals begin Oct. 12th. Show opens Nov. 15th and
closes Dec. 6th, 2008.
Material to Prepare: 1 comic or tragi-comic monologue no longer than 2
minutes. One song in falsetto no longer than 1 minute (a capella or CD
accompaniment both fine). Then a prepared side downloaded from our website.
NOTE: Auditions will be videotaped and you may be asked to appear shirtless
briefly. ALSO NOTE: Show contains an extensive nude scene and some male-male
sexuality.
