Welcome to the Amoration Curriculum Working Group. We are looking at: * Novel ways to teach mathematics, pattern recognition and critical process from 5-13 year olds * Science and technology innovations that can be embedded into slightly-futuristic worlds * The social sciences of international cooperation (from a kids perspective) and global participation (maps and metrics that detail our planet) * The growing relationship between humans and machines, AI and how carbon and silicon-based life forms can work more effectively together * Language and communication across boundaries and how we can easily break down barriers between tribes/groups/nations * Environmental and energy education as a blueprint to sustainable living for everyone Our goal is to embed these lessons into short videos, print comics and books and a live action series that follows a group of kids learning to solve complex social problems together. ManorMeta is the first hub for this programming, developed as a nonprofit/social venture partnership in the Sesame Street vein to fill the gaps in science, math and technology education for kids ready to look at the challenges they will be inheriting. We look forward to your feedback, suggestions, questions and comments as this working team grows! ~evonne@Amoration In Kenzo in Second Life
