Subject: I am NOT Gellin'
Yesterday I bought some Dr. Scholls insteps to fix my mouse poop
problem and to give me a little more foot support.  After 8 hours on
my feet working, my feet are aching!   The problem is that the insteps
take up so much room in the front of my shoe.  There is not enough
room for both my foot and the insteps.  The results is that my feel
are pinched from the top to the bottom of the front part of my foot.
After a while, you start to develop pain.  You see the commertials on
TV aboout people getting foot pain relief.  It really surprised me
that these insteps actually made my feet hurt more than if I did not
use them.  There are also these little nodules that cause pressure
when you are standing a lot.  Other than that, the job went very well
today.  I was able to make some stuff  on my own that they taught me
yesterday.

Hey Fred,

Sorry to hear about your mouse in the house problem. Silly litter critters
can cause big problems....

As for Dr. Scholls, I use the arch support kind which help prevent plantar
faschitis and arch dropping (different from mouse dropping, heh). You do
have to have your shoes a bit bigger to fit them....

Glad to hear the job went well! Good luck with it!

Jo

Can you remove the footbed that was originally in the shoes? My husband
has to use custom orthotics and they replace the original footbed -- not
go on top of it.

I bought some smaller pads today and just placed them into my boots.
I think these will fix the problem.  I will know for sure tomorrow
when I work the day.  It is kind of different getting use to working.
Yesterday I had a lot of mental fatigue and was making mistakes the
last 2 hours just because I was mentally drained.  Today went much
easier and I was able to complete two refabrications by myself - the
second almost without any supervision.

Try taking a break when you feel that way, have a glass of water or a snack.
You need to re-vitalize your brain if you get tired.
Don't push so hard for too long without a break.

Good luck!
