Assuming the A's don't come back and win today, Blanton's record falls to 4-11 with a 4.97 ERA. What a fat piece of shit he is. The A'ss will fall to 44-37 with a loss today; take Blanton's corpulent ass out of the A's rotation and replace him with an average starter, and the A's could be in first place.... more »

I just purchases a dvd called summer of '57. It is a collection of short baseball footage from 1957, about a hour long. I really like the content and quality and would like to get other different years, however, they are $30.00 per dvd. I would like to find someone to share the costs in return for a copy. Now, I realize that scouts are usually out at the Park. But, just thought I tell you that during today's (6/26/08) game--we sit in Section 116--there were a few of them there. One of them---don't know the team--had a "gun" on Harden. When Harden left the game, he left, too! Make of it what you will.... more »
