I think the Dow Jones is going to be OK. Your 401k plan is safe, thanks to Nick Punto. If you track Punto's OPS and overlay it on the DJIA, with an adjustment for time factor, you get a pretty decent mirror image. That is, just as Punto's OPS took a nosedive in 2007, down to .562, so did the DJIA take a dive in autumn of 2008, down to 8,451.... more »
