Did not the Pride of Chicago lead the AL Central
wire-to-wire in 2005?

Game 1 to Game 162, that's right!

A certain troll here claimed that the "lovable losers" accomplished
that feat back in the 1800's.  It was so funny too when someone here
pointed out that that was not true.  The troll spun around and said
something about how the newspapers from then are unreliable.
Completely missed by the nitwit was the point that if his point about
newspaper accounts being unreliable to disprove a point then they
there is little grounds to make a statement based on those same
reports.

Of course NO Cubbie team has gone Game 1 to 162 in first, not once!
Never has happened, and they can't surpass that this year either.

The troll will now unfurl his usual perverse filth and point out how
the Cubbies were in first place all season once in the Cactus League.

I dont know who this "troll" is, but I will point out that the Cubs
have certainly lead the whole season at least twice in their long
history.

I will also point out that Crawdad is a self-admitted, publically
announced fan of the Green Bay Packers, and is therefore unworthy to
breathe the same air that we good Chicagoans breathe.

The Chockers have a series in St. Louis this weekend
and that may change the leader board in the NL Central.

This year the NL is so weak that they would be a free
lunch in Triple-A.
