Well, I would say that the pickets didn't help the clams at all. Be that as
it may, the Co$ carries the seeds of its own destruction. The "heavy
ethics" regime, the prices, the "golden age of tech" and the revelations
(on national TV) about skullduggery at the Poole org all contribute to
their downfall.

Still, having spread thousands of Xenu leaflets in a small town cannot
possibly have gone unnoticed. The street-theater style pickets are perfect
for getting the attention of a population which is throroughly used to
polite people asking passer-bys if they would like to take part in a
survey...

One can only speculate on the effect of pickets on staff and public
members, but there are so many clams whom I used to see that I don't see
any more. Senior clams are visibly upset when a Xenu leaflet is handed to a
member or the protesters talk for extended periods of time to the members.
