alt.fashion seems to be one of the few newsgroups where  posts by
women are in the majority.

With this in mind I have a very serious question to pose.

Below you will find an edited version of a post that resulted in the
termination of a man's account by his internet service provider,
Tidepool.com.

The individual complained that he was censored and that the ISP
had no right to close his account.  He threatened suit so his ISP
decided to let netizens register their opinions on this subject.

What do you think?

Will the clams *never* learn?  This is stupid beyond belief.  The
followup which I will do right now is to post the URL for Jeff's Lisa page.

Where did Jenny mentions Grady's name?  The only person that mentioned Grady's
name on alt.fashion is Warrior.

What she did was attempt to get some opinions from people who don't have a
vested interest in the outcome.

My point is to inform people about Jenny, the AOL clam. Her post is
on-topic for a.r.s. I find it particularly interesting that she chose to
post it to an off-topic newsgroup. I could have suggested a dozen
newsgroups that would be more appropriate, but she chose alt.fashion. I
find that amusing, that she would post an off-topic message to complain
about Grady, who was falsely accused of being off-topic.

I can't imagine how reposting her message to a.r.s can be considered
censorship. How silly.

But who knew she was looking for groups to post to? I hereby offer to
suggest appropriate newsgroups to any Scientologist who wants to post
about Scientology. Email me at rkel...@voicenet.com

alt.fashion will never be one of the suggestions.

It's irrelevant that she didn't mention Grady's name, the post is about
Grady. I think that makes it a little dishonest, not mentioning the person
she is complaining about.

"Vested" interest means monetary interest, no? Nobody here has a vested
interest, except Grady. Scientology wants to get a judgment against him.
Fat chance, since I don't think they have a shred of evidence.

Hey! They're tag-teaming! PLight, RonsA AND wgert! Well done!
Now, do you think you could enter into some real comm about your
chosen faith?

Do you think it was ethically correct (I'm not using a
scientology definition of ethics here) for scientology to move
into Clearwater, Florida under the guise of United Churches of
Florida and Southern Land Development and Leasing to prevent
people from knowing who they really were?

Do scientologists always lie like this?

Is it correct scientology teaching to lie to get what you want?

Why did they do that?

James

Interesting, because in the "washington" letter about the kids, Grady
wasn't mentioned either.  Someone then posted a followup,
mistinterpreting whose children were being talked about.

Typical foot bullet tactics.

Take care

...and who, no doubt, couldn't care less about the outcome, because it's
completely inappropriate for the newsgroup to which she posted; i.e.,
she did precisely what wgert accused Grady Ward of doing.  We can now
expect wgert to send a message to AOL asking them to close her account,
right?

He wasn't "censoring" the whacked-out, brain-dead cultie's posts;
he was speading them around so even more people can see what a
lying, snivelling little turd she is - the exact opposite of
censorship, you toad.
