I don't know what it was but I spent the whole day about two inches from buying you know what's and you know whating one. I'm going to hit the sack and hope tomorrow's better.
The heat wave out here sucks! Its been in the upper 80's or some damn thing. Is the heat wave country-wide, or just out here in So Cal?

Hi Snow,
Thanks.
I think we should have mosquitoeaters, just as we have anteaters. Maybe you could buy some frogs as pets? I don't know what to suggest. I grew up in Michigan and we had a lot of mosquitoes. As kids, at camp, I remember how we sprayed ourselves with OFF and then through the mostly empty cans into the bonfire and ran like hell. We don't have much in the way of mosquitoes out here in Los Angeles. (Not in my part of LA, anyway. Maybe up in the mountains or forests, i dunno.) I think the little guys need fresh water to breed, and the only way to get fresh water out here is to buy a bottle.

We have a government agency out here for mosquito & vector control. Their biggest problems are marsh lands and green pools. (People either don't take care of them, or they leave for extended periods of time and don't drain them) If a citizen calls in to report a problem, they come out and spray insecticide and try to correct the offense. It's such a hot topic out here that portions of our newscasts are devoted to educating the public so we don't have a West Nile Virus outbreak. They tell us during mosquito season (like Snow says, after the rains) not to even fill up your birdbath, and if you have any empty flower pots to turn them upside down. Hey Mike! We're getting 109 on Monday. Heat wave? Try living in a wok. And no smoking for you buddy! You'll be really pissed at yourself if you do. Check out Snows and my meters. You can do it too, just put on your big boy pants and do it. :) Terry I have been quit for 2 Years, 4 Months, 2 Weeks, 15 hours, 35 minutes and 18 seconds (865 days). I have saved $3,689.82 by not smoking 21,641 cigarettes. I have saved 2 Months, 2 Weeks, 2 Days, 3 hours and 25 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 1/4/2006 8:30 AM
