Had a terrible cold from last Thurs until today, coughing, aching, chills, the achoodles and the whole nine yards. I still have a lot of congestion though, and my sinuses are stuffed. Anyway, the doctor says that my immune system is "reasserting itself", that my sinuses are plugged due to allergies, (for which he proscribed nasonex,) and told me that its going to get worse before it gets better. (That sucks.)
The nasonex helped a bit, for a while, but clearly its no godsend. Not complaining, though, it was nice to breath through my nose for a while.
