What I started using for an alternate stand for my AG was a desktop micropone stand with a cloth over the top to make it stable. So far it has worked better than expected....No altering of the grip, and ease of having the grip in multiple locations around seating without looking out of place. I keep the cradle on my desk and have the stand next to my seat where ever I'm sitting at the time and works great. I'm using a cheap microfifer cloth in the pictures to show contrast. You can use a face cloth or different fabric to match your decor (maybe a piece of leather?) The Microphone holder on the top allows the flex and fit under the cloth. Stans new are less than $20.00 and used on Ebay are far less, under $5.00....Also allows you to one hand the AG and use as a mouse to click thru different things if you don't need to type. Worked so well for me I bought a second grip to use elsewhere in the house. Hope it helps anyone looking for a stand solution.
