Subject: Hello I am also New!
My name is Brian Sandler and I am 22 years old from Massachusetts. I
have an Airedale Terrier named Ollie.  I got him for my mom for a
christmas gift.  Ollie is now 8 years old.  He is a great dog.  He has
been very healthy.  Although, he has had itchy skin and has ear
infections once or twice a year.  Does anyone else have this itchy skin
problem?  What about an ear infection or two every year?  We changed
his food, so his skin is very clear now, and not so itchy.  But, i was
just wondering how many people find their airedales to be
itchy-skin-proned too. I have heard that the ear infections are common
in Airedales.  Also, my dog has been living with a heart murmor as
well.  I was wondering if anyone else's dog has one, and maybe how that
is going.Or had one, and how long they lived.  My Airedale  has a soft
coat, its curly and has never been wirey, is there anyway to make it a
wirey coat?  Also, does anyone know where we can get nice airedale
stuff?  There is not a lot of Airedale Terrier things around.
Although, recently, I have seen more and more.
