Subject: Drinking
Hello - I am new to this group, so please bear with me.  I have a 7
month old ADT by the name of Guinness (He was born on St Patricks Day)
I also have a Bouvier female about 8 years old.
My question is:  Does this breed drink a lot of water or is this a
trait that is particular to him?  I know my Bouvie drinks a lot, but
nothing like Guinness.   Whenever I clean out the bowl and put in fresh
water it seems the level drops pretty far and pretty fast.
Otherwise I  am more than happy to have this guy in our family.
Thanks

Welcome to the group, I have found that mine will drink a great deal if I
feed them cubes, as I feed raw now they dont drink half as much as they did.

Hi...My eight month old male Airedale takes deep long drinks, that lasts him
for hours, depending on his activity  or the temp.  This is my fifth Dale
and they all liked to drink come to think of it. I don't think this should
be a problem.
If in doubt...check with your vet.
Good luck
Mike
