Ateneo Alumni Cards Information

AAA Membership Card
In 2005, the Ateneo Alumni Association (AAA) took a giant leap forward by formally establishing the Membership Program. Through this program, the AAA has been able to strengthen its presence in the university community through an office located on campus and has been able to provide concrete services to our growing alumni community. The AAA aims tobring together the thousands of Ateneo alumni all over the world and form a more sustainable and empowered alumni organization and network in the service of our alumni community, our alma mater, and our country.

All alumni of Ateneo de Manila University are invited to register and activate their membership to the AAA by paying a lifetime membership fee of 2,000.00 pesos or an annual fee or 300.00 pesos.

AAA Visa Card

With the AAA VISA, you have the opportunity to fund AAA programs. It happens every time you dine at a restaurant, travel for business or pleasure, shop for groceries, or even get your car tuned up. That’s because UnionBank automatically donates 50% of your annual renewal fee, .05% of your retail spending and 1.0% of the interest on your total outstanding balance.

Also, through this VISA card, you can pay your tuition and school related expenses for a very low interest of 1% per month.

Interested applicants may contact the AAA office at 926-6046 and look for Marnelli or you can apply for your AAA-Visa card online.

Order of the Blue Eagles

The Order of the Blue Eagles (OBE) Fund program was started in 1981 by the Ateneo Alumni Association (AAA), during a time when the Ateneo de Manila University first embarked on a major capital fund raising effort. At that time, majority of recognized alumni donations to the Ateneo de Manila University were from alumni donors who could afford to give big amounts. This made it difficult for other alumni to make smaller and personal donations.

Through the leadership of then AAA President Agustin Bengzon (Col ‘57), the AAA recognized the need to create and institutionalize mass-based support from the alumni to the Ateneo, consolidating the efforts of both big and small donors into making one big Fund for the Ateneo from the alumni. Because of the OBE, all alumni, regardless of his or her social or professional standing, were able to continue to be involved with helping the Ateneo and its work.

Depending on the cumulative donations given by an individual, he/she is conferred a rank.
