Listing on 14236 Sat & Sun 1400 est. but only listing, got to get another sound card the on board card will not let me work with the soundblaster I have in the slots.

Dwight, I am using a little $7 USB-Audio adapter from geeks.com that
works perfectly for listening to FDMDV on the Sunday net. Check it
out here:

I am also copying EasyPal digi SSTV on 7.173 and all the standard
keyboard modes with MixW. I have given up on all Creative
Soundblaster devices.

hi
you do not need another sound card, just a usb head set,
the fdmdv program will find it as a sound card.

I have been using a USB Soundblaster (Creative) Live unit for years on digital modes and it works great for FDMDV as well.  I use the internal audio for transmiting and the USB Live for receiving.  Have never had a problem.  But I have heard also that many are using the usb headsets without any issues as well for listening.  I also use the USB Live unit for remote HF Base stations online as well.  Have never had a problem with it.  Now, you DO have to install the software that goes with it - even though Windows XP and newer will automatically find it and install it - you MUST use the software that came with all soundblaster/creative products.  There must be some differences between the original software and microsoft's versions of the drivers.  This may be the problem some are having.  If you just plug it in - it will be recognizeda nd will work in some cases - but not for everything.
