School Opening Saturday - Vikingeskolen

Dear parents, students and teachers

Vikingeskolen will open its doors this upcoming Saturday at 9:30AM
(optional breakfast at 9:00AM). We are so excited to finally get the
school year started and see you all.

Please note that for the child classes, we will start a regular
school
day AT THE SCHOOL with the theme "Sommerminder" instead of going

We hope all is safe and well. Vikingeskolen will be closed Saturday September 20 due to the aftermath of Ike. While large parts of the city is still without power, the school is without a full staff.
Please pass along this message to as many people as you know as many of us is without Internet access.

We are currently monitoring the forecast for Hurricane Ike in the Gulf
of Mexico. Depending on the continued development we may have to
cancel classes on Saturday, September 13. That of course would be
unfortunate and we hope we don't have to take such action as all are

Danish school. If you already did, thanks for letting us know in
advance. It helps us plan resources and materials.

Also, we are still looking for a few primary teachers. If you know
