VWJHS Friday Cancellation

The field hockey game has been cancelled for today. Please go home on
your regular bus. There is no practice. Remember Tuesday we have a

1. The John Jay girls basketball team will be holding a beginning of
the season clinic to help prepare for the upcoming season. It will be
held Saturday, November 8th from 10 am to 2 pm. It is for any girl in
6th through 9th grade. For more information please see Mr. Brooks or

1. The Student Government Association is having the first dance of
the year, Trick Or Treat Party Heat, on Friday, October 24th. The 6th
grade dance will be from 4:30-6:30, and the 7th & 8th grade dance is
from 7:00-9:00.

2. Thanks to a longe goal by an outside midfielder, the boys soccer
team tied their third match of the season in another double overtime
game. Today's game is at Wappingers Junior High. ALL athletes MUST
be picked up at Wappingers Junior High... there will NOT be a return

Great team defensive effort by the entire team. Remember practice
today is from 3 to 4:30.

2. Congratulations to the girls volleyball team on their 4 to 1 win
over Unionvale last night. Their next game is Monday at Mahopac.
Today's practice will go until 5:00.
