I thought I would send you a final notice via the Shibboleths Discussion
Forum to remind you about the last two emails which you may have received on
April 23 under this rubric.  

Here is the first email with the subject "Changeover from Shibboleths
Discussion Forum to Feedburner":

This is a quick note to alert you to the fact that I am in the process of
transferring the SHIBBOLETHS DISCUSSION FORUM from its current location (it
is presently a Google Group) to a new format. From now on, you will receive
one daily email, a so-called digest, provided by FEEDBURNER which will
briefly alert you to the most recent posts which I have made to the forum's
companion blog PHILOSOPHY'S OTHER: THEORY ON THE WEB.  This information will
continue to include CFPs, book reviews, etc. as before.  The main advantage
of this change is that instead of receiving several emails each day which
can obviously clutter up your inbox, you will receive a neat, daily synopsis
of all posts made which will allow you in turn to either visit the blog for
further information or simply click on those links in the email which
interest you the most.  You can post comments either at the blog itself or
by emailing them to me directly (which I will then post on your behalf).
All comments received are then forwarded to all on the list with the next
daily digest.  

Don't be surprised, therefore, to receive in the very near future an email
from me (but one actually sent on my behalf by FEEDBURNER) asking you to
confirm your registration.  It's a very simple process to complete -- all
you have to do is click on the link provided in the email which will in turn
take you to a page that will automatically confirm your registration.

And here is the second email (entitled "Changeover II") pointing out I was
unable to read the following email addresses and thus could not enter them
into the new system:

To the majority who have already made the transition, I thank you.  I am
looking forward to welcoming the remaining few who have not to the new
system and to continuing our discussions under the new format.

All in all, if you are no longer receiving emails on the Shibboleths
Discussion Forum and have not begun to receive a daily digest from
"Philosophy's Other," you need only visit the website
http://philosophysother.blogspot.com/ to sign up for the new feed by
scrolling down and adding your email address to the dialogue box located on
the left of the screen.  Alternatively, and much more simply, you may have
already received the email sent on my behalf by Feedburner asking you to
verify your subscription by merely clicking on the link in that email.  If
you have lost that email and would like to receive it again, just drop me a
line.
