Probably i'll get the ball rolling... I've a few queries below, any info on these would be really helpful.
1) Is there a portal for this group where i can find more information on the group and the past activities.
2) Is there any resources specific to Java on reverse engineering. I know about Jad to decompile Java classes. I'm looking for more advanced topics like code mangling and what are the pitfalls/advantages to it? Any pointers/links here would be useful.
Thanks Rajesh Dilli

If you are interested in software reverse engineering only I suggest that the time might be better spent contributing to OpenRCE (http://www.openrce.org/about/).
If you are intereste in both software and hardware RE then this would probably be a good idea.

The only thing i can say - RE isn't a "everyday" feature as linux or network technology, but we can share experience, links, resources books devoted to RE, or may be do some RE togeather.
Last thing i was doing (RE-oriented) - was try to RE bank-client to rewrite it with much more functionality and usability that it has now. Actually i failed couse don't have enought exp. That's why i started looking around for RE-oriented resources.
That's why i'm here :)
