Subject: Free folk/roots publicity outlets
My "partner in crime", Matt Lindi, has returned from hiatus and has
put in quite a bit of work in our folk website - www.northeastfolk.org
- with much more coming.

I also run two other free groups/discussion boards that you can use
for publicity.

A.  www.going.com, particularly in its http://boston.going.com/group-1849;NorthEast_Folk_n_Roots_Music
area

Everything folk: roots, Americana, blues, bluegrass, newgrass,
traditional, folk rock, blues and R&B happening from the greater
Boston / Cambridge / Somerville area out to new England and spilling
over into New York and eastern Canada.   (I am the owner/administrator
- seeking a western New England assistant)

B.  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NorthEastFolk/

Sharing information about folk artists, music, concerts, lyrics,
recordings, and performances, the community is quite alive and well.
With roots in the Cambridge / Somerville / Boston scene, news from
throughout the northeast is welcome.  (I am the owner/administrator)

C.  http://www.northeastfolk.org/folkforum/

NortheastFolk.org is a website dedicated to the local and regional
indie music scene in and around Boston and the Northeast. It is
intended as a resource for performers, venues and service providers to
exchange information and reach out to anyone interested in our
community.  I run this website with Matt Lindi.

These websites/groups are free, a registered account is all that is
needed.
