I am the "owner" of this group, which means that if anything goes wrong it is my fault! I am sure the good people at Google do an excellent job, and we are all grateful to them for providing the facility for us to have this discussion group, but one or two things have gone wrong recently and I need your help to ensure that we get things right.... more »

Odd Question
|
| |
Hello All, Not quite an 11 question, I know, but I do understand we have more than a few 'Lotus Boff's' on here. On the Lotus 16 frame, contemporary articles say the frame longerons were made from a 'special aircraft grade steel, square tubing but with larger radius corners...' or similar jargon. Does anyone know what specifically was used, and what the wall thickness was, and why it was speciffically used?... more »

80s. I recommissioned it in 2006 and ran my first event at Sebring for
the Lotus Eleven Reunion there. I was privileged to meet many of you... more »

I believe I read that a few of the very last XI's made were produced
with fiberglass bodies, not the aluminium body it is best know for.
Can anyone confirm or refute this? If it is fact does anyone know... more »

Hi,
I am looking for a dual weber dcoe 40 intake manifold for my Lotus 7
series 4. Apparently there is a long version and a short version. I
bought a redline part that the runners are long and offset (3 3/4") ,
