Can anyone tell me where our Dialysis Centres are? My partners Dad wants to come and visit from the States but he needs to Diyalise three times a week. We did it last year, but we had to put everyone through the emergency system which isn't fair to anyone. This time we have given the 6 months notice that the centres require and, guess what.... 'we don't have the spaces' and one has even said they don't take emergency Dialysis either (which I think is illegal). We want centres in the Humberside and South West Devon areas, but people who want to holiday in the UK and spend money here can't. These people are expecting to pay for treatment if a Brit said I'll pay they would be rushed to the top of the list.... Any ideas on this would be appreciated... remember no bad language!!

Hi topknot (wonderful alias :) ) Thanks for the links, I have used this site before, but not in the way you have suggested. Maybe this will give you a better idea of what this is all about http://dialysis-vacations.tripod.com . Although I am running this as a company I am disgusted at some of the attitudes given from some of the clinics. Some of them almost suggest that Dialysis patients shouldn't take holidays abroad. Anywho... thanks again, take care of yourself and wrap up warm in this weather.
